Wiziworld Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Wiziworld ("Wiziworld", "the Park", "we", "our" or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, the purchase of tickets, and your visit to Wiziworld, situated at 8 Mozart Street, Kyalami Hills, Midrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.
Please read these Terms carefully before making a booking. By accessing our website, making a booking, purchasing tickets, or entering the Park, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA"), the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA"), and all other applicable laws of the Republic of South Africa. Nothing contained in these Terms limits or excludes any rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under South African law.

1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms apply to every booking, ticket purchase, website visitor and person entering Wiziworld.
If you make a booking on behalf of other guests, including children, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not make a booking or enter the Park.
2. Website Use
By using the Wiziworld website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes.
You may not:
copy or reproduce website content without written permission;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems;
introduce malware, viruses or malicious code;
interfere with the operation or security of the website;
scrape, harvest or automatically collect website content or customer information.
Although we take reasonable steps to ensure website availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the website without notice.
3. Bookings & Tickets
Wiziworld operates primarily on pre-booked guided experiences during weekends and South African public holidays.
A booking is only confirmed once:
full payment has been received;
payment has been successfully processed;
you have received your booking confirmation.
Tickets are valid only for the booked date and time.
Tickets may not be:
resold;
used for commercial promotions;
transferred for profit;
duplicated or altered.
Wiziworld reserves the right to refuse entry where tickets have been fraudulently obtained or altered.
Guests should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled tour departure.
Late arrivals may not be accommodated if the guided experience has already commenced.
4. Pricing & Payment
Unless otherwise stated:
Adult admission: R500
Child admission (under 18 years): R450
All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).
Prices may change at any time; however, confirmed bookings will not be affected by subsequent price changes.
Payments are securely processed through approved third-party payment providers. Wiziworld does not retain complete credit or debit card information.
Discounts, promotions and vouchers may not be combined unless expressly stated.
Gift vouchers are valid for the period specified on the voucher.
5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
Our cancellation policy complies with Section 17 of the Consumer Protection Act.
5.1 Cancellations by Guests
More than 7 days before the visit
Guests may choose either:
a full refund less a 5% administration fee; or
a credit voucher to the full booking value.
Between 48 hours and 7 days
Guests may choose either:
a 50% refund; or
a full-value voucher valid for 12 months.
Less than 48 hours before the visit
No refund will be payable.
Due to Wiziworld's limited guest capacity and pre-planned theatre and catering arrangements, reserved places cannot ordinarily be resold at short notice. The cancellation charge represents a reasonable cancellation fee contemplated by Section 17 of the Consumer Protection Act.
5.2 Rescheduling
Guests may request one complimentary reschedule provided:
at least 48 hours' notice is given;
the requested date is available; and
the new booking occurs within 12 months of the original booking.
Additional changes may attract an administration fee.
5.3 Cancellations by Wiziworld
Should Wiziworld cancel a booking due to:
severe weather;
power failures;
technical failures;
safety concerns;
minimum group numbers not being met;
force majeure events;
guests may choose either:
a full refund; or
an alternative booking date.
5.4 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
6. Admission Policy
Wiziworld reserves the right to refuse admission where:
tickets are invalid;
guests arrive intoxicated;
guests behave aggressively or abusively;
guests pose a safety risk;
guests refuse to comply with staff instructions.
Children under the age of 16 must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult throughout their visit.
7. Park Rules
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:
Guests must:
follow staff instructions;
remain with their allocated guided group;
supervise children at all times;
respect performers, staff and other guests;
treat Park property with care.
Guests may not:
smoke or vape except in designated areas;
bring dangerous weapons or hazardous materials onto the premises;
bring illegal substances onto the premises;
operate drones;
enter restricted areas;
interfere with theatre performances;
damage Park property;
engage in abusive or threatening behaviour.
Outside food and beverages may only be brought into the Park with prior approval where required for medical or dietary reasons.
8. Health, Safety & Accessibility
Wiziworld contains:
stairs;
uneven pathways;
low-light environments;
theatrical lighting;
flashing or strobe lighting effects;
moving animatronics;
theatrical sound effects.
Guests with:
mobility limitations;
pregnancy;
epilepsy;
sensory sensitivities;
medical conditions;
disabilities;
are encouraged to notify Wiziworld before their visit so that reasonable assistance can be provided where possible.
Participation in certain experiences may be restricted where reasonably necessary to protect the safety of the guest or others.
9. Assumption of Risk
Guests acknowledge that participation in a themed attraction involves ordinary and inherent risks associated with walking through themed environments and attending live entertainment.
By entering the Park, guests voluntarily assume these ordinary risks, provided they do not arise from Wiziworld's negligence or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.
10. Liability
Wiziworld maintains appropriate public liability insurance for its operations.
Subject to applicable law, Wiziworld shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, including but not limited to:
travel expenses;
accommodation expenses;
loss of income;
loss of enjoyment;
incidental or consequential damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
death or personal injury caused by negligence;
gross negligence;
fraud;
liability arising under Section 61 of the Consumer Protection Act;
any liability that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.
Guests who believe they have suffered injury or property damage during their visit should report the matter to management before leaving the Park so that an incident report can be completed.
11. Force Majeure
Wiziworld shall not be responsible for failure to perform its obligations where performance is prevented or delayed by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
severe weather;
flooding;
fire;
pandemics;
government restrictions;
strikes;
civil unrest;
terrorism;
utility failures;
load shedding;
technical failures affecting operations.
Where reasonably possible, affected bookings will be rescheduled or refunded in accordance with Section 5.
12. Food & Dietary Requirements
Guests should notify Wiziworld of dietary requirements and allergies before their visit.
While every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate dietary requirements, meals are prepared in kitchens where allergens including nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, seafood and soy may be present.
Accordingly, Wiziworld cannot guarantee that meals will be entirely free of allergens.
13. Photography, CCTV & Privacy
For safety and security, parts of the Park are monitored by CCTV.
During your visit, photographs and video footage may be captured in public areas for promotional, advertising and marketing purposes.
By entering Wiziworld, you consent to the incidental inclusion of your image in such material.
Guests who do not wish to appear in promotional material should notify staff upon arrival. Wiziworld will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests.
Personal information collected by Wiziworld is processed in accordance with POPIA and will only be used for lawful business purposes.
14. Lost, Damaged or Stolen Property
Guests remain responsible for their personal belongings.
Except where caused by Wiziworld's negligence, Wiziworld accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal property.
Lost property found within the Park will generally be retained for up to 30 days, after which unclaimed items may be donated or disposed of.
15. Code of Conduct
To ensure every guest enjoys a premium family experience, Wiziworld reserves the right to remove any guest who:
behaves abusively;
uses threatening language;
harasses staff or guests;
damages property;
disrupts performances;
places others at risk;
refuses to comply with reasonable instructions.
Guests removed for misconduct will not be entitled to any refund.
16. Intellectual Property
All Wiziworld branding, logos, artwork, illustrations, scripts, theatre productions, music, characters, photographs, videos and website content remain the intellectual property of Wiziworld or its licensors.
No commercial photography, filming, recording or reproduction may take place without prior written consent.
17. Consumer Rights
Nothing contained in these Terms limits any rights available to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act.
These include, among others:
the right to fair and reasonable contract terms;
the right to quality service;
the right to cancel advance reservations subject to a reasonable cancellation fee;
the right to seek remedies provided by South African consumer protection legislation.
Should you have any concerns regarding your experience, we encourage you to contact Wiziworld first so that we may attempt to resolve the matter promptly.
18. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Should any provision of these Terms be found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
The version of these Terms applicable to your booking shall be the version in force on the date your booking was confirmed.
